Never lose a USB drive again!
The purpose of this free service and software is to help ensure that your lost USB drive gets safely returned to you using IdentityPal's Free Postage-Paid Return Mailing Service. This free service ships a lost USB drive back to its registered owner while keeping their personal information totally private. If your lost USB drive is found by someone, this software will automatically launch when the drive is inserted into a computer. All the person needs to do is print out the "LOST USB DRIVE" page located on the main screen and then bring it to their local post office. Your USB drive will be sent to our processing warehouse, your Tracking ID confirmed, and then your drive will be shipped back to you at no charge! Identity Pal will NEVER share your personal information or registration information with ANY third party, PERIOD.
To get started with IdentityPal's Lost & Found Software and mailing service, just follow the step-by-step instructions below! Remember, there are no costs associated with this service and your shipping address is kept 100% secure at all times in a 256-bit SSL encrypted database. The idea is to get your USB drive back to you while keeping your personal information private from the person who finds it.

Registering for an IdentityPal Lost & Found Account will allow you to create Tracking ID numbers in our system and attach them to a delivery address. The Tracking ID is attached to your account on the web site and you will use your Tracking ID with the downloadable USB software in the next step.

Remember, you can create as many Tracking IDs as you'd like! If for example you have 5 USB drives, you can create 5 Tracking IDs!

Click the green button below to download the IdentityPal Lost & Found USB software as a ZIP file. The name of the zip file is "IdentityPal_Lost+Found.zip".

To install the software, simply unzip / extract the contents of the zip file to the main "root" directory of your USB drive. That's it, installation complete! Run the file named "IDP_Lost&Found.exe" and then follow the instructions below to input your Tracking ID.

Once you have both downloaded the software AND created a Tracking ID, you can now input your Tracking ID INTO the software! From the USB drive, launch the file named "IDP_Lost&Found.exe" and click on "USB Drive Owner Settings". Once there, simply input your tracking ID into the field and click the "Save Changes" button.

And that's it! You're all set to get your USB drive mailed back to you if it ever gets lost. See the screeshots below for more detailed visual instructions.

Note: You can test to see if your Tracking ID was saved correctly. Just go back to the main screen of the software and click on "CLICK HERE TO PRINT THE LOST USB DRIVE MAILING PAGE". That printout is what the person who finds your usb drive will bring to a post office.
