Coolest-Gadgets.com - IdentityPal USB digital Identification Tag
January 7th, 2008 by Al

Ever lost your dog, cat or even your kid? If you have, you'll know the panic which can ensue. However, if your animal of choice (or child) is kitted out with their own Identity Pal USB device, it'll have all the information on it to let people know where to return the wandering little so and so back to.

Also, if you or one of your family or friends is involved in an accident or incident where emergency assistance is required, again the Identitiy Pal will not only let people know who you are, who your next of kin are and how to contact them, but if you have any life threatening medical conditions they need to know about, your insurance details and anything else.

The Identity Pal is waterproof and shockproof, so shouldn't be damaged even in the most severe of accidents. Therefore if you are incapacitated, the attending paramedics or other emergency services can simply plug in the Identity Pal to the nearest find out anything they need to know about you and any pre-existing medical conditions.

The device was only launched a month ago and was invented by an engineer in collaboration with a practicing nurse and also an attorney, therefore any information you might think needs going on the Identity Pal has been thought of, including Living Will and Power of Attorney details. However, anything you don't want made public knowledge, you can simply password protect.

The Identity Pal is available at a RRP of $49.95 and I think it's a small price to pay for a potentially life saving piece of kit.
